Assembly and Manufacturing Technician
On-site in LaSalle
Full-time
WINDO develops robotics solutions for the service industry. We build our drone cleaning systems ourselves, in our LaSalle workshop, from the cleaning rig hardware to the finished unit that ships to the customer.
The job is hands-on: you assemble and build our systems with standard workshop tools, check that each one works, and help the engineering team make them easier to build.
The work
- Assembling our systems from parts to finished unit: frames, pumps, hoses, fittings and wiring, following assembly instructions
- Making and fitting parts in the workshop: cutting, drilling, tapping, grinding, deburring
- Testing each unit for leaks and correct operation before it ships
- Keeping the workshop, tools and parts stock organized, and reporting what could be built better
What you need
- Good with your hands and comfortable with standard workshop tools: drills, drivers, wrenches, saws, grinders, measuring tools
- Experience in assembly, manufacturing or a hands-on trade (mechanics, plumbing, fabrication or similar)
- Careful, methodical work: you follow instructions, check your own work and keep track of parts
Nice to have
- Reading technical drawings or assembly diagrams
- Hydraulic, plumbing or pneumatic fittings
- Basic electrical wiring and soldering
- Machining, welding or 3D printing
- Bilingual FR/EN
