WINDO develops robotics solutions for the service industry. Our drones clean building façades; the next step is teaching them to perceive and navigate the building on their own.
This is applied research on real hardware: you build the models and pipelines, put them on the drone, and take them to the field to see whether they hold up. We hire on what you have built, not on diplomas.
The work
- Perception for façade work: detection, segmentation and 3D reconstruction of buildings from drone cameras and sensors
- Localization and mapping (SLAM, visual-inertial odometry) close to glass and concrete, where GPS is unreliable
- Training, evaluating and deploying models on the drone's onboard computer
- Working directly with the mechanical, electronics and software team, from prototype to field testing
What you need
- Proven experience in robotics, computer vision, SLAM, or a closely related field
- Strong Python and/or C++, with PyTorch, OpenCV or equivalent tools
- Work you can show: code, papers, or projects that ran on real hardware
Nice to have
- ROS / ROS 2
- Drone or UAV experience (PX4, ArduPilot, DJI SDK)
- Sensor fusion, calibration, LiDAR or depth cameras
- Bilingual FR/EN
